Help stop the stigma of addiction.
You can make a difference.
As many of you know, in December 2016, we lost an inspirational young man, who was the embodiment of people helping people, to a senseless act of violence. Joey Gingerella was a light in the life of all he encountered. Son to CSO founders Joe and Tammy de la Cruz, it was Joey's willingness to speak about his disease and struggle with addiction in front of an auditorium of his peers that led his parents to form an organization whose mission would encompass ending the stigma associated with addiction. Yes Joey fell victim to the disease of addiction - yet addiction was not Joey. Joey was a standout athlete, a fun-loving guys' guy who made everyone laugh, someone who built people up and made them feel good about themselves. Joey did not always feel great about himself, but he would move mountains to put a smile on your face. All those that knew Joey felt like they were a special part of his life - because he made sure to make them feel special. CSO would like to continue Joey's legacy of people helping people in 2017, and we invite you to join us in our effort.
Your donation allows us to connect people struggling with addiction to treatment programs and sober living facilities. Your donations can help turn a life around.
