Saving Lives is not controversial
Community Speaks Out is launching a “Saving Lives is Not Controversial” Campaign. We are asking our local businesses to play a part in helping save lives. The way you can do this is by agreeing to have Narcan available at your location. Community Speaks Out is fully funding this project and will supply all necessary Narcan, materials and training free of cost to you.
Our state has recognized that harm reduction is the first way that we can all do our part to help those struggling with substance use disorder. Overdoses are happening more and more in our local businesses, and we should be prepared to have life saving measures on site. Under the Good Samaritan Law in the State of CT, you are protected by law from any legal action if you administer or hand out Narcan.
