OUR FUNDERS

CSO is an all volunteer organization. We have and active board, and our members and volunteers wear many hats without any form of compensation. We rely solely on our fundraisers, donations, and grants to run our day-to-day operations.

Our organization was fortunate to have generous supporters sponsor us during our joint fundraiser last year with Community of Hope and GASP. Below we proudly share the sponsorship level and some associated company information and website links. This support assists our efforts to educate, spread awareness, and change and save lives from the deadly disease of opioid addiction.

In addition to our fundraising events, we have had the honor to receive both solicited and unsolicited donations and grants from our community including charitable organizations, businesses, individuals, and others who recognize the importance of the ongoing work CSO is doing in our community.

We appreciate all of you who have given your time, energy, or resources to this cause. Your kindness does not go unnoticed. Thank you.

DONORS

CSO has received recurring donations from Mystic Congregational Church multiple times each year since the beginning—most recently in April 2020: $500

MYSTIC CONGREGATIONAL CHURCH website

Mystic Congregational Church has long been recognized for outreach, both locally and globally, to those in need. Our Christian Mission Committee has been entrusted by the Church to assess the needs of non-profit organizations in southeastern Connecticut and abroad, and then decide how funds allocated to the Mission Committee’s budget should be dispersed. In addition to financial support of several agencies, the Ministry leads in the church’s efforts to collect food items for nearby food banks. Church members also volunteer their time in a hands-on capacity, providing meals to a local food center. The following list outlines many of the activities in which the committee and additional church volunteers are engaged:

Financial Support of Local Social Service Agencies. Responsible for identifying agencies and amounts for more than two dozen organizations in the area based on percentage of church’s annual budget.

evening of elegance website

Evening of Elegance (EoE) was created to foster engagement amongst friends, family and community while supporting the area we call home.  We are passionate about bringing our annual event that is not only unique but one which gives back to a young, local charity in desperate need of our assistance.

Community is empty without UNITY! We need each other! Over the past years, we have seen terrors in our schools, hatred brought into our homes and violence contributing to a very anxious way of living. EoE’ s spirit is to provide an opportunity to recognize and celebrate our relationships, our local, family owned businesses, and the special feel our historic ocean community brings – even if it is only for ONE night!
